We want you to feel at home when you come to our offices in Bellevue or Seattle. Undertaking orthodontic treatment is a big decision and we want you to be comfortable and confident when you are with us. We will be glad to answer any of your questions. When it comes to orthodontics, one size does not fit all. Each patient presents with his or her individual issues, concerns, priorities, schedule and needs. Therefore, each treatment plan is customized, and we work with each patient to ensure that these specific needs are met.

Specializing in Tooth Movement

Our orthodontists are specialists in tooth movement as well as skeletal growth and development. We will not only align your teeth, but also evaluate and look for ways to improve airway, the gingiva (gums), and the occlusion (the way the teeth fit together).

Patients

We would like to welcome you to our family. We take the time with each patient, listening to all concerns and creating a unique and individualized treatment plan.

Our thorough exams and smile analyses are based on esthetics, and founded in science and biology. We will work with your dentist and other health care providers to coordinate your treatment through a team approach. Our state-of-the-art orthodontic offices in Seattle and Bellevue utilize both two-dimensional and three-dimensional radiography – allowing us to assess each individual’s teeth, jaws, joints, and airway.

We are now offering virtual consultations for local patients.
You can meet with our staff and orthodontists from the comfort of your home.

Please follow these steps:

Smile and take a selfie with your teeth together.
Take a photo of your profile with your teeth together
Take a close up photo of your teeth while biting on your back teeth. Take this same photo from the left and from the right
Lean back and take a photo of your top teeth
Lean forward and take a photo of your bottom teeth

Text these photos to (206) 623-2192 along with your contact information. We will get back to you with times to review your photos and to discuss your treatment options.

Your First Visit

Knowing when you need orthodontic treatment and selecting a treatment plan can be overwhelming. Our orthodontists in Seattle and Bellevue will assess if this is the proper time to start treatment and what treatment options are best for you (growth modification appliances, clear aligners, braces, etc).

Our treatment coordinator will greet you, show you around the office, and start collecting records. We will complete a thorough examination and discuss treatment options with you. Our staff will verify your insurance benefits as a courtesy to you. We will review our in-office interest-free financing options with you as we want to make treatment affordable for all of our patients. In most instances, we can get started with treatment the same day as your examination in order to save you a second trip in to the office.

Whenever possible, it is preferred that all responsible parties are present at the initial consultation so everyone has a chance to hear the orthodontist’s concerns, the treatment plan, and ask questions.

Interdisciplinary Care

Our Bellevue and Seattle orthodontists frequently collaborate with other allied professionals to provide more advanced levels of care. Examples of this type of interdisciplinary care include working with the following specialists:

Restorative dentists and prosthodontists to move teeth in preparation for future dental restorations and/or to prepare a patient for a lifetime of a more stable bite
Periodontists and restorative dentists to prepare patients for implants, soft tissue grafts and/or bone grafts
Oral surgeons for combined orthodontic/orthognathic surgical cases
Sleep Medicine Physicians, ENTs and Myofunctional therapists for airway improvement

Let Us Handle Your Insurance

Insurance can be complicated. Having a dedicated in-office insurance specialist allows us to help you fully explore your insurance coverage and to get the most out of your benefits. We will thoroughly explain your insurance benefits and even file them on your behalf.

Latest Technology

We are always looking to use technology to provide a higher level of patient care while also improving patient convenience. We use an iTero digital scanner to take impressions of teeth. Digital impressions are incredibly accurate, they are compatible with Invisalign®, and they help ease the process for patients with a strong gag reflex.
